Downloading a .tex file from overleaf






















I don't feel too well about uploading the sourcecode of my paper to some website I hadn't heard about before. That's why I tried to simply use the source of the template. The problem is I could not compile it myself since I do not have the classfile wlscirep. Where can I get it? Additionally, this answer to Latex template for Scientific Reports Nature seems to be still valid.

Should I ignore the Overleaf template and simply use revtex like before? It's very easy, you open the document "Open as template" , and click on "Project". Then you can either "Download as zip" or just open the file "wlscirep.

Usually the location of your main. TeXmaker doesn't need to open all your other files. It is enough if they are present in your document folder. So I'd expect things to work if you just download all your files from Overleaf onto your local machine and make sure the file structure is the same as on Overleaf so if you have a subfolder on Overleaf with images in it, you need a subfolder of your document directory with the same name as on Overleaf.

Since sharelatex and overleaf joined forces I think you are out of luck and other if you could port your project I don't think it would be as good.
