If anyone is reading this would you be able to tell me what makes Minecraft special to you and why I should consider buying it, all these years later? I'm someone who had an interest in Minecraft for a pretty long while but only recently got it after I saw it was on sale on the eShop. What got my interest is the fact it's a game that is all about making your own goals and objectives and doing them at your own pace.
For some the lack of set objectives might be a bit of a turn off and they'd probably gravitate more to something like The Forest a survival game that has an actual plot , but for someone looking for a good "chill out" game Minecraft is quite soothing. For a long time I only experienced it vicariously through lets players and now I'm finally able to experience the full game first hand. It had been a good while since watching certain LPs though so I did have to re-learn some stuff I originally learned from LPs I watched years ago namely I was surprised to realized "oh wow I forgot how to make a bed".
